June 20, 2005 For Immediate Release Contact: Daneeka Marshall-Oquendo (MINNEAPOLIS)—Minneapolis-based Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH®) has appointed Clarence L. Kadrmas, PE, as the new director of its Power Engineering Market Center, effective July 1, 2005. He will assume the responsibilities of Robert Palmquist, PE, former CEO of Associated Consultants Engineers Inc., a power engineering company that merged with SEH in 2002. Palmquist will focus on marketing the firm’s power services. Kadrmas has more than 30 years of electrical and mechanical engineering experience. Before joining SEH in 2003, he worked as the general manager of electric and natural gas utilities for the City of Hutchinson, Minn. He also served as the lead engineer for Willmar Electric, Inc., also in Minnesota, where he provided design-build support services. In his new role, Kadrmas will lead and manage power engineering projects, expand the firm’s presence in the power industry and help clients with the expansion and replacement of electric transmission systems and power-grid issues. Kadrmas received a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University. ### Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.
