Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc., Expands Professional Consulting Firm in Downtown Duluth

(Duluth)—Due to significant growth within the past five years, Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc., (SEH®) will relocate its Duluth office today to 418 West Superior Street, Suite 200, in downtown Duluth. The company will lease approximately 10,500 square feet in the Northland Building – formerly Duluth Business University – in the heart of downtown Duluth. SEH’s Duluth office anchors the company’s operations in northern Minnesota. The Minnesota-headquartered professional consulting firm, comprised of 750 engineers, architects, planners and scientists, ranks as one of the top 100 largest engineering firms in the nation by Engineering News Record (ENR).

SEH opened its Duluth office in 1998 with 15 employees. In the span of five years, the Duluth office doubled in staff size and areas of expertise. The company focuses on civil engineering, surveying, environmental, transportation planning and design, and water resources projects. The Duluth office serves the cities of Duluth, Hermantown and Silver Bay; St. Louis County; state and federal agencies such as the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the U.S. Forest Service; and numerous private businesses, including Cirrus Design.
