(MINNEAPOLIS)—Minnesota-based professional consulting services firm Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.’s (SEH) Board of Directors named nine new Associates. Annually, SEH selects individuals to receive this honor who demonstrate strong leadership skills, outstanding job performance, technical expertise, and exceptional client service. This group of employees is experienced in several different fields of discipline including engineering, planning, and community development.

Tom Beattie, Denver, Colo., has extensive experience working on multiple airport projects across the country and is successfully developing the aviation and architectural teams in Colorado and Wyoming. Beattie joined SEH in December 2003 as a Senior Project Design Leader specializing in airport planning and design.
Matt Bolf, PE, Duluth, Minn., serves as Duluth’s Municipal Group Leader with specific expertise in civil design. He works as a Client Service Manager for several key clients in the Duluth, Minn., and Superior, Wis. areas. His recent projects include the Helberg Drive project in Duluth, Minn., Lakewalk East Extension project in Duluth, Minn., and the Sterling Pond Extension project in Hermantown, Minn. He joined SEH in 2000.
Damon Chmela, PE, Minnetonka, Minn., joined SEH in 2007 and serves as the Electrical Engineering Group Leader. His nineteen years of experience spans many electrical specialties, including the design of electrical substations, power distribution, power generation, real-time process controls, instrumentation and supervisory control, and data acquisition (SCADA) systems for utilities, municipalities, and industries. He holds a professional engineering license in six states: Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Randy Jenniges, PE, St. Cloud, Minn., serves as a Client Service Manager and City Engineer for the cities of Avon and Richmond, Minn., and as the lead Project Manager for the City of Rogers, Minn. While the majority of his work is in municipal engineering, he also serves the Architecture Group with civil and site design services. Prior to joining SEH in 2004, Jenniges worked as Assistant City Engineer for the City of Alexandria and the Township Engineer for Alexandria Township.
Aaron Moniza, PE, St. Paul, Minn., joined SEH in 1999. Most of his work involves managing transportation highway design projects for a variety of clients. Moniza participates in many associations and professional organizations, and in spring 2008, will receive his Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
Heidi Peper, St. Cloud, Minn., joined SEH in April 2002 working as a Senior Community and Economic Development Specialist. Peper has achieved a nearly 75 percent success rate when preparing funding applications for SEH clients. Because of her expertise, she has helped other SEH service groups secure nearly $17 million in project funding. Peper has 12 years of community and economic development experience, has served as an SEH Project Manager for four years, and as a Client Service Manager for the last four months.
Randy Sanford, PE, Chippewa Falls, Wis., Sanford has more than 13 years of experience and has been with SEH for more than seven years. He has extensive experience in municipal and water engineering, and has served as a Project Manager and Designer for a variety of projects. Prior to joining SEH, Sanford worked as a Project Manager on multiple Wisconsin Department of Transportation (Wis/DOT) projects.
Jeff Saxby, PE, Appleton, Wis., joined SEH in 2001 as a Senior Professional Specialist. Saxby’s extensive experience in roadway design and transportation planning includes in-depth knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act. Saxby was recently selected to serve as the Wis/DOT Northeast Region Local Program Manager. He is a professional engineer registered in Michigan and Wisconsin, and previously worked as a Project Manager for the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Bradley Woznak, PE, CFM, St. Paul, Minn., serves as a Senior Professional Engineer, specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and floodplain management and analyses, watershed modeling, and preparation of detailed plans and specifications. Woznak has worked for SEH for more than 10 years and is a professional engineer in Colorado, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. He is a founding member of the Minnesota Association of Floodplain Managers.
