Chris Blum, PE
Eastern Region Structural Practice Center Leader
Madison, Wisconsin

Chris’ career spans more than 19 years, and includes a wide range of experience in bridge design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of bridge replacements, construction inspection, and bridge rehabilitation designs. Chris is also a certified bridge inspector and has inspected more than 500 bridges throughout Wisconsin. Besides designing bridges, Chris also is the Project Manager for a number of roadway design projects in southwest Wisconsin. As a direct result of Chris’ leadership, the Structural Practice Center in the Eastern Region has grown in rev­enue in recent years. Through his business development efforts, he has successfully managed to secure new clients in southern Wisconsin, growing SEH’s presence in this part of the state. Due to his strong relationship-building skills, Chris serves as the Client Service Manager for numerous Wisconsin counties and townships.

Brian Kent, CHMM

As a 15-year member of the SEH Team, Brian has had the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects for both SEH and SEH Design|Build, while generally maintaining a 75 percent or higher utilization. Brian is known as the “go to” person for services related to landfill gas, biogas, remedial investigation/ feasibility analysis, and remediation technology. He is considered a highly qualified and trusted resource to both internal and external clients, which often results in repeat business or client referrals to other colleagues. Recently, SEH was hired for a high profile project largely due to the client’s trust in Brian’s work. Through his active involvement in several professional associations, Brian continually creates exposure of SEH’s services to our clients.

Doug Klamerus, PE
Water Engineering Practice Center (St. Paul Office Lead)
St. Paul, Minnesota

Over the past nine years, Doug’s work in the Water Engineering Practice has been well recognized among his peers and his clients. He is a sought-out resource in the Central Region for completing water master planning (computer modeling) and water rate studies. His work has often led to several non-compete contracts for water supply, water treatment, and storage facilities. Other Practices, including Municipal and Heavy Civil, frequently turn to Doug for his technical expertise in sizing water mains and trunk sanitary sewers as part of new construction or reconstruction projects.

Mike Kuno, PE
Municipal Practice Center
Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Mike joined SEH in 2000, and served in the St. Paul office for several years before relocating
to Sioux Falls to help grow the Municipal Practice in that market. Since that time, he has helped secure several projects in South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota, and northwestern Iowa, including street and utility projects, street lighting projects, traffic studies, utility studies, library expansion, fire station studies, and comprehensive planning. In addition to standard municipal, Mike’s experience has crossed over to transportation projects as he provided construction administration services on the TH 100, design/build project that included expansion of an existing four-lane highway section to a six-lane section with bridge replacements, noise walls, and retaining wall construction.

Bonnie Morey

In 2001, Bonnie came to SEH with 25 years experience in the training and development field. Her extensive background in public involvement has proved invaluable for the success of several SEH projects, including the City of Golden Valley Pavement Management Program and City of Eagan Traffic Improvement focus group. Bonnie plays an instrumental role in providing leadership coaching, developing employee educational programs, and currently is working on the overall SEH Talent Management program. In her role at SEH, Bonnie also contributes to the development and implementation of the company’s strategic planning process. Bonnie continues to build client relationships by speaking to groups and at conferences such as the MPWA and CEAM.

George Walton, PE
Highway Design Practice Center
Laramie, Wyoming

With more than 17 years experience in highway design, highway construction, and environmental documentation, George is playing a lead role in growing SEH’s newest office in the Western Region – Laramie, Wyo. He became a part of SEH in 2002, and since that time has excelled in securing new clients and in growing revenue for the firm. His experience has helped SEH secure projects with the Colorado Department of Transportation, several counties, local communities, and Federal Land Management Agencies. George strives to provide staff with a diverse set of projects, ranging from county planning studies to municipal street and utility projects to major reconstruction projects in National Parks and forests.

Jessica Werder, PE
Wastewater Practice Center
St. Paul, Minnesota

Jessica joined SEH in 2006, and since that time has made a positive impact on building SEH’s Wastewater Practice in the Central Region. Through her leadership and excellent client service and ability to effectively manage projects and resources, SEH has secured several new projects. Specifically, her successful work to manage a design/build wastewater project with a Tribal Nation in North Dakota led to additional design/build projects for a water treatment plant and a water tower. In addition to her projects, Jessica spends her time mentoring graduate and recently licensed engineers to hone their technical skills. She uses her leadership skills to delegate, provide quality control, and offer technical advice.

Joonho Yo, AIA, LEED-AP
Western Region Architectural Practice Center Leader
Denver, Colorado

Joonho joined SEH nearly two years ago, and since then has made significant progress in growing SEH’s architectural practice in Colorado and Wyoming. He brought to SEH more than
15 years architectural experience, ranging in building types from a single-owner facility to a complex 200,000-sq.-ft. public building. He played an instrumental role in landing a Fire Station project in Laramie, Wyo., which helps solidify the company’s commitment to growing business in this community. Throughout his career, he has played a lead role in designing public facilities, including several fire stations, which is an SEH designated growth area.
