A pedestrian bridge designed by SEH of Indiana was opened to the public last week.

The bridge, which links the George Lake Bike Trail in Hammond, Ind., and the Whiting Lakefront Trail in Whiting, Ind., is one more completed link in a chain of interconnected projects identified in the Marquette Plan, a comprehensive, strategic redevelopment approach being implemented throughout northwest Indiana's Lake Michigan lakefront communities.
