SEH of Indiana Welcomes Award-Winning Landscape Architect.

Gregg Calpino, a landscape architect regionally and nationally recognized for his innovative park and civic space designs, has joined SEH of Indiana. Calpino, who previously worked for Chicago-based consulting firm JJR, brings more than $200 million in built master plans for communities in Indiana, Illinois and beyond, including the award-winning northern Indiana Marquette Plan on which SEH partnered with his previous firm.

He has served as a project director and designer and has led complex, multi-disciplinary projects with aggressive schedules and budgets.  Notable projects include: Chicago’s Northerly Island, Lincoln, Jackson, Washington and South Shore Parks; Cleveland’s eight-mile Waterfront District and Canal Basin; and St. Louis’ Forest Park.

Gregg has proven especially adept at integrating hydrological and environmental engineering with ecological and landscape sensitivity. He has received more than 30 local, regional and national design awards and has presented technical papers at dozens of conferences and public events. He is ASLA and LEED AP certified.  In his new role, Calpino will serve as Regional Practice Center Leader and Senior Landscape Architect.

SEH of Indiana President Kerry Keith says, "We are thrilled to have a professional with Gregg's experience, creativity and skill join our team.  We worked together on many components of the Marquette Plan, and know the synergy that exists when we collaborate.  Our clients will truly benefit from this addition to our office."
