Officials from the City of Hammond, Indiana, and the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) celebrated completion of the Wolf Lake Festival Pavilion as part of the opening ceremonies for Hammond's annual midsummer Festival of the Lakes.
The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) awarded the Hammond Port Authority (HPA) the largest grant in its history to transform the park by building connecting bike paths and hiking trails, picnic areas, scenic gardens, and the pavilion, which has become a popular destination for tourists and Hammond residents alike.
SEH of Indiana was HPA’s prime consultant for the Wolf Lake project. Led by Project Manager Rick Trevino, the SEH team was deeply involved in development of the design concept for the pavilion and grounds, as well as selection of subconsultants and contractors to complete the work. SEH’s role as engineer included site development, storm water design, site lighting design, landscape design (including parking lot design), subconsultant management, and construction management.
