A record number of people showed up to the Chetek Lakes Protection Association monthly meeting as the property owners on area lakes grow weary due to the decrease in water quality and the potential impact to their properties and quality of life.

SEH Scientist Dave Blumer, who lives in the area, helped those attending the meeting understand that through personal involvement and a no-nonsense approach they could solve the problems.
