Perry Gjersvik, PE, has joined the SEH team in Des Moines, Iowa, as a senior professional wastewater engineer. He will also lead growth in the area.
Perry will provide world-class water and wastewater engineering services to municipal, governmental and private clients in Iowa. In addition, he will be managing the office in Des Moines.
“Perry is recognized and well respected by his clients and peers for his ability to provide engineering solutions that help build a better world for all of us,” said SEH Vice President and Regional Leader Tracy Ekola, PE. “As both a technical professional and a leader, he will be an asset to the region.”
A connected leader
Perry has 30 years of expertise leading as a project engineer, project manager, client services manager, local division manager and senior project manager. Going beyond professional expertise, Perry has a strong connection to Des Moines and the surrounding communities.
“I have been working in the wastewater field since I started my career at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources more than 30 years ago,” said Gjersvik. “It’s satisfying to help Iowa communities solve their wastewater issues and help clean up the environment.”
Four sons and a Harley Davidson
Perry grew up in central Minnesota and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. He is a proud father to four wonderful sons, ranging in ages from 16 to 22. During his free time, Perry enjoys golfing and riding his Harley Davidson.
