The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) announced another round for the Transportation Economic Development (TED) Program. Project applications will be accepted through April 30, 2013.

A Multi-Disciplinary Approach for Sherwood, Wis. Presented by Andrew Dane, AICP, at the 2012 Wisconsin Conference on Downtown Revitalization “The Art of Downtown Development” in Appleton, Wisconsin on October 9th, 2012.
SEH Director of Energy Mark Broses, PE, presented, “Bioenergy: Old and New” at International Bioenergy Days 2012, a conference for business and investment in renewable energy.
SEH Senior Community Development Specialist Andrew Dane (Appleton) presented "Sustainability IS Economic Development" at the Wisconsin Basic Economic Development Course (WIBEDC) held Sept. 10-13, 2012, at the University of Wisconsin Pyle Center in Madison.
Pam Pirman (Appleton) presented "Plan for the Best, Prepare for the Worst: Working with the Media" at the August 28 meeting of the West Central District of the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association meeting in Roberts, Wis. Her presentation focused on working with traditional and social media outlets to share positive news stories, and to address controversial or crisis situations if they occur.
Dr. John Katers and Andrew Dane presented a webinar for the American Planning Association on innovations in recycling and waste management on February 10th, 2012.
