The La Porte County, Indiana, Economic Development Corporation was awarded a grant for $1,304,000 to support an infrastructure upgrade at the I-94 / US 421 Interchange.

SEH of Indiana serves as LaPorte County Economic Development Consultant. For the 421/94 project, our services included development of an economic development area plan, coordination of a $22MM private sector investment using tax increment financing and private activity bonds as well as the final piece of the interchange infrastructure development submission and procurement of the grant funds.

SEH’s Project Manager for the La Porte EDC Matt Reardon (Lake County) says the federal funding will be pivotal in helping drive private development and bring jobs to the area.
