'SEH Is a Go-To Company,' Say 10,000 Government Officials

March 15, 2016

SEH was named a “Go-To” engineering company for bridge design and design-build projects, according to a national poll of 10,000 government officials conducted by Roads & Bridges magazine.

For six years in a row, SEH has been selected a preferred bridge design company. It is the first year readers of the publication also named SEH one of the preferred design-build companies.

Unlike many other industry lists, the results of Roads & Bridges Go-To List are based on professional choice, not annual revenues. The respondents select the companies they like working with in the field.

“We’re absolutely honored by the recognition,” says SEH’s Jeff Johnson, bridge designer and structural practice center leader who has been involved with over 600 bridge-related projects. “And it means a lot coming from those who matter most: our clients.”

This is the first year readers at Roads and Bridges have selected SEH as a preferred design-build company. Whether through our subsidiary SEH Design |Build or not, many clients are taking advantages of the cost and timeline efficiencies — and flexibility — offered by the design-build methodology.

Creating a connection: “We can make things better, one day at a time,” says SEH’s Cory Ascheman in this project video about the St. Croix River Crossing, the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s massive design-build project.
