SEH Named a 2016 Top Workplace in Milwaukee

SEH was awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces honor by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Top Workplace Award is based on the results of a survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics measuring how connected employees feel to the overall direction of the company – where it’s headed, how it’s going to get there and feeling like everyone is in it together.

At SEH, our employee-owners really are in it together. Through dedication and hard work, we’re committed to improving the world around us. In fact, it’s part of our company’s core purpose — Building a Better World for All of Us.

While SEH offers flexible work schedules and employee-ownership, the award is about more than perks and benefits.

“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And often times, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics in a press release announcing the winners. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees.”

For three years in a row, our employee-owners have indicated “pride in their work and their work for the company” as the number one reason they like working at SEH. Beyond our day-to-day work, SEH employees give back to the communities we serve. Individually and collectively, we make contributions to non-profit organizations throughout the United States and abroad.

And we’re growing.

“We plan to hire 100 more employees within the coming year. With growth comes opportunity, and we look forward to our people continuing to grow and advance their careers with us,” says Jackie Zamorano, Chief People Officer at SEH.
