City of Portage Comprehensive Plan Update Survey

The City of Portage is currently undertaking a Comprehensive Plan to help address and guide future growth and development. We invite you to participate in the plan development by completing the following survey. This is your opportunity to have input and share your opinions. These responses are completely confidential and anonymous. The Survey will close on April 15, 2009.

Project Purpose

The Comprehensive Plan is the official growth and development policy document for the planning jurisdiction of the City of Portage. The City’s 2002 Comprehensive Plan was developed at a time when the community was only experiencing the initial impacts of rapid growth and development. That development has occurred at a pace that makes many aspects of the 2002 Comprehensive Plan out of date. The City, as part of this update, seeks to look at growth beyond its current boundaries.
