
The City of St. Louis Park, in coordination with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will be holding a Highway 7/Louisiana Avenue Interchange informational meeting on:

The purpose of the project is to design a grade separated interchange to replace the signalized intersection at Highway 7 and Louisiana Avenue. The purpose of the meeting is to receive an update on final plans, anticipated construction sequencing and schedule, prior to Council approval of the project tentatively scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2012. Comments will be accepted throughout the meeting and can be submitted until November 22, 2012. Final design and preparation of construction plans is nearly complete. 90% plans were submitted for agency review at the end of October 2012. Right of way acquisition is underway. Some private utility relocation has already begun. Final plans should be completed in February 2013. It is anticipated that a construction contractor will be selected in March or April of 2013. Construction is expected to begin in late April of 2013.
