A Project Update for the Week of March 24, 2008

• On Thursday, March 20th, Planning Consultant Michael Darrow updated the Planning Commission on the process of the Zoning Ordinance Update. This update included a summary of the February open house, project milestones and a reminder of individual Planning Commission member meetings set for March 26th.
  
  At the conclusion of his presentation, Mr. Darrow asked if the Planning Commissioners had any questions about the zoning ordinance, feedlot process or upcoming meetings. No questions were asked of Mr. Darrow or Planning Director Brian Bender with regard to the process.
  
  
• On March 26th, individual meetings will be held with Planning Commissioners. The purpose of these meetings is to gather comments related to the Zoning Ordinance. This is critical to the success of the update since no comments were made during the public meeting on March 20th. Comments with regard to these meetings will be
  discussed during the next Planning Commission meeting.
• 
  March 26th Task Force Meeting. This regularly scheduled meeting will discuss the following items.
  1. Housekeeping
     1. Update on Open House
  2. Discuss Feedlot Draft Chapter (PowerPoint)
  3. Discuss Overlay District Text and Map (PowerPoint)
  4. Discussion of Next Open House Meeting
  5. Discussion of Next Task Force Meeting
