After an extensive selection process, SEH was retained by the City of Middleton to design its new fire and EMS facilities. The buildings occupy a prominent site and serve as a gateway to Middleton. The City requested a design theme based on turn-of-the-century fire houses. Two separate facilities were constructed, one to house the City’s full-time EMS staff and another for the volunteer fire department. At 40,000 sq. ft, the fire station is one of the largest volunteer stations in the United States.
