SEH provided Title III construction administration services for a new 21,000 sq ft. heritage center near the Grand Portage National Monument site in Grand Portage, Minnesota. SEH provided construction administration, document review, design services, and geotechnical services to address the site’s challenging basalt rock substrate. The renovation incorporated a new fireplace, log column cover designs, and a holeless elevator to accommodate the high water table. SEH also provided site and landscape redesign services to address the steep slopes and challenging grades.
