Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR) contracted with SEH to provide a Unit Resource Management Plan (URMP) for St. Croix State Park (SCSP). A URMP is a working document providing management strategies for the protection, preservation, and enhancement of existing and future resources associated with a state park.

The URMP provided a unique opportunity for SEH to use MnDNR’s extensive GIS warehouse of data strictly for the SCSP. During this project SEH GIS staff worked closely with SEH biologists along with MnDNR GIS staff, managers and biologists to refine, correct, and thoroughly analyze the variety of datasets that represent SCSP.
