SEH provided planning; design; land surveying; and full-time, construction-related services for this flood control improvement project.

The project included the elimination of a concrete open channel in the center median of the road and a comprehensive public involvement process that considered a variety of flood control alternatives. The selected alternative resulted in a cost savings of approximately 65% when compared to a system of standard Type R inlets and laterals.

In addition to the storm sewer work, SEH also designed street improvements and the replacement of water and sanitary sewer.
