After a history of devastating floods, SEH is working with the City of Austin on a number of flood risk management projects along the Cedar River. For Austin, SEH is providing civil, geotechnical, hydraulic and structural engineering; and preliminary and final design, and construction engineering services. The project includes flood and interior drainage analyses, and preliminary and final design of flood barriers, earth levees, sewer outlets, road closure structures, and pump stations.
