Size: 2,100 feet along the river
As a subconsultant to Bonar Group, the SEH study looked at the construction of a river enhancement project that would be located between State Road 56 and the river which represents about 2,100 feet of river shoreline improvements and amenities. The final opinion of probable cost was $17.5 million. The area currently has no public access to the river for pedestrians and no public marina The existing shoreline protection consist primarily of large unsightly pieces of concrete removals from construction projects and overgrown vegetation and large trees. The focus of the project was to use knowledge of past or similar projects to create an accurate opinion of cost that could be used to determine the level of funding required to complete the project and tie the new project into existing adjacent park amenities.
