Civil and Municipal engineering serves as the backbone of SEH services. Since 1927, we have served local governments and private clients with traditional civil engineering services for street, utilities, sidewalks and trail projects. Civil and Municipal engineering services are offered through a number of local SEH offices.

Over the years, we have remained ahead of the curve in terms of incorporating sustainable, low-impact practices into every project. In addition to the professional expertise necessary to take any infrastructure project from start to finish, SEH developed our Community and Economic Development team to help clients secure funding for infrastructure projects. Those are just some of the reasons why more than 100 municipalities across the Midwest rely on SEH to serve as their City Engineer.
