Fire Department Design Services

Modern fire stations must support and provide for the educational, training and physical demands placed on today’s fire fighters. In addition to fire calls, today’s professionals respond to EMS calls and accidents, act as first responders and participate in homeland security and mass casualty training. Our staff is familiar with all aspects of the seemingly endless list of design considerations that must be addressed early in the planning process to construct a station that can keep pace with this demanding profession.

We deliver a final product that reflects the professionalism of today’s fire fighters because our fire station design team includes a former fire chief who knows first-hand what is needed. Our experience ranges from advanced life support EMS service to Level A statewide hazardous materials response. Combining first-hand knowledge and expertise with information gained by talking with fire chiefs and fire department staff helps ensure that the unique fire service requirements and the operational goals of a new fire station are adequately reflected in the architectural design.
