Outdoor Lighting: Evaluation and Planning

The planning and evaluation of quality outdoor lighting requires a comprehensive understanding of design criteria, operating and maintenance issues, security and public safety, construction costs, budget constraints, aesthetics and the requirements of public agencies and private property owners. Conflicts can occur when trying to balance aesthetics and installation costs with equally important issues regarding system performance, operation, maintenance and durability. At SEH, our experienced staff works with community focus groups, city councils, planners, engineers and lighting maintenance personnel to help them plan for, install and maintain quality outdoor lighting.
