Park and Recreation Design Context-sensitive, durable, low The SEH Architecture and Landscape Architecture Team helps ensure that these elements set SEH designs neighborhood parks with play equipment that spark children’s imaginations and encourage social interaction. Seating nodes provide excellent opportunities to relax, supervise activities or take advantage of interpretive activities. Organized sports such as softball, baseball, T-ball and especially soccer place huge demands on the need for community parks and large athletic complexes. Drainage, lighting, parking, access, restroom facility, pavilion, trail and neighborhood compatibility issues provide opportunities to incorporate unique design approaches and time-tested materials and construction systems to efficiently and expertly develop both active and passive recreational amenities. Today’s parks also include splash pads — interactive water playfeatures that provide the fun kids want without the expense, facility amenities and supervisory requirements of a traditional pool or water park. When it’s hot, they’re definitely “cool!” |
