Envision ™ is a new rating system designed to promote sustainable infrastructure in the United States. SEH staff have been involved in helping shape this new tool over the past couple years. This post provides background on the tool and its intended use.

As part of the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Innovative Ideas Program, SEH led the design and deployment of a fully-functional Intersection Warning System, a Stop Sign Warning System and a Curve Warning System using low-cost, portable, solid state systems that help reduce crashes and move toward zero deaths on Minnesota roads.
