Engineering News-Record (ENR) ranked SEH #131 on its 2013 Top 500 Design Firms list, moving up from #137 in 2012, demonstrating SEH’s consistent financial performance above industry average.


The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal has named SEH to the second spot in its list of the biggest engineering firms in the Twin Cities.

SEH recently hired Ben Arriola to serve as the company’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. Arriola will serve on the executive team for the company of 550 engineers, architects, planners and scientists.


SEH named Tracy Ekola, PE, to serve as the company's new leader for Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. In her new role, Tracy will lead the nearly 300 SEH professionals in these states to achieve our company's goal of providing exceptional client service. Her leadership responsibilities also extend to managing the operations in these four states and leading the growth initiatives to expand the array of services SEH provides.


SEH named four new Stockholders, who now serve as company Principals – Angie Fischels, Dan Hedrington, Jeff Pederson (AIA) and Heidi Peper. The SEH Board of Directors selected these individuals based on their superior performance, and the trust and respect held by their clients and peers.


Pam Pirman (Appleton) presented "Plan for the Best, Prepare for the Worst: Working with the Media" at the August 28 meeting of the West Central District of the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association meeting in Roberts, Wis.  Her presentation focused on working with traditional and social media outlets to share positive news stories, and to address controversial or crisis situations if they occur.


SEH has moved to a new office location at 312 S. 3rd St., in La Crosse, Wis. The firm established its La Crosse presence in 2009 and outgrew its previous space.
