Steve Godfrey, a senior professional engineer with more than 38 years of experience in municipal, water, and wastewater engineering, has joined the Milwaukee office of SEH.

The 4th Street Bridge Utilities Relocation project, completed by SEH for the City of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, was named a winner in Engineering News-Record magazine’s 2012 Best of the Midwest project competition.

Help for Homes is a service provided in Brighton, Colorado to low-income senior and disabled homeowners who need exterior home repairs, painting, and yard work and cannot afford a commercial company to provide these services. For the past four years, professionals in SEH’s Rocky Mountain offices (Colorado and Wyoming) have rallied to volunteer with Help for Homes, providing free labor and optimism.


Helping 11 to 14 year olds prepare for careers in engineering, math, science, and technology is a long-time passion for Norm Arendt, SEH’s Safety Director, and Rick Coldsnow, PE, the Civil Practice Leader in Colorado and Wyoming. Both Norm and Rick have watched multiple generations of students challenge themselves and their classmates through MATHCOUNTS, a national math enrichment program.

Professional services firm SEH Project Engineer Paul Pasko, PE appeared on The Discovery Channel to discuss cured-in-place piping (CIPP) as a solution to the country's aging water infrastructure.


When it comes time to address failing and non-compliant septic systems in and around your lake community, lake sewering projects are a reasonable solution. However, the process of moving lake sewering projects from conception through construction can be ripe with organizational, technical, and financial challenges.


Envision ™ is a new rating system designed to promote sustainable infrastructure in the United States. SEH staff have been involved in helping shape this new tool over the past couple years. This is part two in a series providing background on the tool and its intended use.
