SEH named four new Stockholders, who now serve as company Principals – Angie Fischels, Dan Hedrington, Jeff Pederson (AIA) and Heidi Peper. The SEH Board of Directors selected these individuals based on their superior performance, and the trust and respect held by their clients and peers.


When it comes time to address failing and non-compliant septic systems in and around your lake community, lake sewering projects are a reasonable solution. However, the process of moving lake sewering projects from conception through construction can be ripe with organizational, technical, and financial challenges.


Envision ™ is a new rating system designed to promote sustainable infrastructure in the United States. SEH staff have been involved in helping shape this new tool over the past couple years. This is part two in a series providing background on the tool and its intended use. 


Recently, several SEH staff had an opportunity to tour the Dane County Collaborative Digester project just outside Waunakee, WI. Dane County and Clear Horizons staff provided background on the project for our group. This blog post provides an overview of our trip.

A Growing Commitment to Greener Farms: The Business Case For Sustainability


The Wisconsin Association for Floodplain, Stormwater, and Coastal Management (WAFSCM) recently awarded SEH project manager Tom Sear (Milwaukee) and Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) project manager David Fowler a 2010 Excellence in Project Design or Implementation Award for their MMSD Underwood Creek Rehabilitation and Flood Management—Phase I project. This award provides recognition of meritorious project efforts to improve floodplain, stormwater, or coastal management in Wisconsin.
