Gratitude is the quality of being thankful, a readiness to show appreciation and return kindness. And feeling grateful means you focus more on the good in your life. At SEH, we asked our employee-owners how they strengthened connections to people and the world around them in 2020. The video above reflects our SEH Employee Gratitude Wall – special moments big and small, with friends and family that will stay in our hearts in the days ahead.
We wish you a holiday season filled with joy, hope and peace!
We pulled three photos from the video above, with each colleague sharing why the picture represents what they are most grateful for in 2020!

My fiancé Andrew and I are so excited to be starting a new chapter in our lives. We can’t wait to see what the future will hold with the love and support from family and friends.

I will always be grateful for the beauty and peace of nature. The Animas River, a Gold Medal Water, is only a few short blocks from my home and our office in downtown Durango, Colorado. Standing in the river, watching the currents, concentrating on the fly and hoping for a bite are acts of meditation in action and that bring me peace and joy.

My wife and I were married in this park 17 years ago. On a beautiful fall day, my daughter had her arm around my son and showed additional support by holding his arm. This moment gave me real peace knowing that while we had started our lives together at this very park, our children will carry on that love and support to future generations.
