At SEH, we recognize employees through our Act of Excellence program. Employees are nominated for excellence in one of three categories: Accomplishment, Character or Innovation. Congratulations to the following SEH employees who know excellence is not an act; it’s a habit.
Collin Maki is a graduate engineer in St. Cloud, Minnesota
The Act: Collin provided site engineering support and oversite services for a variety of projects in Western North Dakota. His dedication to the work, coupled with being away from home for extended periods were critical to the successful construction of these projects. Collin accepted the challenge, learned from the work and stepped up to provide leadership at a time when it was needed most.
Emily Honerbrink is a visual communications team lead in St. Paul, Minnesota
The Act: Emily prepared a project video for a client. Shortly after we received the draft video, we learned our client and friend of 27 years, passed away that morning. Emily took the extra effort, reviewed the raw footage and created an extraordinary keepsake video for the family, friends and community to cherish forever.
Mike Steuernagel is a GIS analyst in Minnetonka, Minnesota
The Act: Mike was entrusted with updating outdated maps for a client, which seemed to be an incredible task to achieve. He came up with an idea and created a step-by-step process to fit the need for this project and satisfy the client. Mike prepared a reference guide and is sharing the innovative technology with the GIS team to apply to future projects.
