The SEH Board of Directors recently named 12 new Class B Stockholders – Brian Bergstrom, Christine Carlson, Rob Ekstrom, Jimmie Hayson, Heather Kienitz, Shawn McMahon, Toby Muse, Kaci Nowicki, Sandee Schultz, Chad Westbrook, Jodi Winberg and Brad Woznak.
SEH is 100% employee-owned, meaning everyone has a vested interest in the success of the company. Class B Stockholders make up the leadership of SEH and are appointed annually through employee-led selection committees, with approval of the SEH Board of Directors.
Class B Stockholders are selected based on their continuous commitment to SEH's success and their sustained and high level of performance in their roles. They bring unique business leadership and/or technical leadership, and are highly respected and trusted by their clients, colleagues and peers.

Brian Bergstrom is a senior architect and project manager with 22 years of experience in architecture and related work leading teams for both public and private clients. He has worked on projects ranging from small-scale building renovations to mid-sized, multi-faceted public works facilities and large-scale performing arts theaters. Christine Carlson is a senior geologist with 15 years of experience managing contamination issues on large-scale transportation projects. She manages the contaminated materials for a variety of projects from development through construction. Rob Ekstrom is a project manager and senior architect with 21 years of experience in architectural design and structural engineering. He has project experience on various building types, including criminal justice, municipal, federal, education, housing and commercial/retail facilities. Jimmie Hayson is a senior engineer and project manager with 24 years of experience providing project management, design, planning, construction and inspection of various civil and municipal engineering projects. Heather Kientiz is a senior traffic engineer with 22 years of experience leading multimodal transportation projects for area plans, preliminary designs and final designs. She serves as the traffic engineering group leader for our St. Paul and Minnetonka, Minnesota offices. Shawn McMahon is a senior engineer and planner with 19 years in the industry. He leads the airport planning and design group for SEH across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa. He has more than 12 years of experience in the design and construction of airport infrastructure projects. Before joining SEH, Shawn served as a C-17A Globemaster aircraft commander and instructor pilot in the U.S. Air Force and can share those experiences as part of his project design and client service. Toby Muse is a senior engineer and leads SEH’s civil engineering operations for the Minneapolis-St. Paul (Twin Cities) metropolitan area. Kaci Nowicki is a senior aviation planner and leads the airport planning team, including nine planners working across the country on complex airport planning studies. For over 13 years, she has helped a magnitude of general aviation, reliever and commercial airports improve and expand their ability to provide safe air travel by leading airport master plans, environmental studies and stakeholder engagement. Sandee Schultz is the director of human resources and leads the human resources and talent acquisition team. She joined SEH in 2008 to provide technical human resources expertise, and is responsible for federal and state regulatory compliance, including seven Affirmative Action plans. Chad Westbrook is a project manager and electrical engineer with 25 years of technical expertise, including facility power distribution and generation systems; facility and outdoor lighting; fire alarm detection and notification; and communication systems. He leads the mechanical and electrical group for SEH across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa.
Jodi Winberg is the director of sales and leads a team of 17 professional proposal writers, proposal coordinators and graphic/digital designers. She is expanding the team's ability to develop effective pursuit strategies and grow its visualization services, which help clients understand and experience their projects long before construction.
