In promoting Benita Crow, SEH positions itself to better assist its clients with engineering, architectural, environmental and planning services as well as to attract and hire new talent to join its growing workforce.
“This is a great opportunity for our client partners,” says Dave Ott, SEH CEO. “Benita is an integral part our Company and has a proven track record of success. She brings a collaborative leadership approach, the ability to engage those around her, and is expertly positioned to help solve our clients’ challenges – while also bringing our services to new clients.”
Benita holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and is a professional engineer in Minnesota and Wisconsin. While with SEH, she has led efforts from multi-million dollar projects in large cities with commercial airports to small communities with grass runways. She has developed client relationships that span decades; it’s these relationships and the diversity of services needed for successful airport projects that will allow Benita to better serve SEH clients.
Prior to stepping into this leadership role, Benita led SEH's airport planning and design team for the same states.
“Airport projects often involve architecture, structural engineering, environmental studies, utility design, stormwater management and everything in between,” she says. “At SEH, we're fortunate to have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with all of these different disciplines to best serve our clients.”
Benita is excited by the opportunity to explore new ways to better serve clients, and to help SEH employee-owners grow and develop in their careers.
“It’s exciting – I feel so much positive energy and momentum within our Company,” she says. “Looking around, I see not only the great work we’re doing for our clients, but also the ways in which our teams are coming together from different backgrounds to find innovative ways to help our clients solve their challenges.”
