Lucas Casey will serve as the sales leader in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. Lucas is a strategic and collaborative leader with over 15 years of experience in city administration and government relations. He joined SEH in 2016 to launch the SEH office in Des Moines, Iowa and was named an associate in 2020.
Lucas is the right fit to lead our sales initiatives. He is an outside-of-the-box thinker, a strategist, and he knows our business and has proven he can deliver solutions for our clients to solve problems today and address their needs in the future.
Lucas will lead a team of business development managers and community development specialists across the five-state region. His team is responsible for providing expert client service, complex project development, and professional funding assistance. Still, he says developing relationships and building trust are the most important parts of their job.
I am most looking forward to deepening relationships internally at SEH and with clients across our regional and corporate footprint. Our team is focused on connecting clients and opportunities with the full breadth and depth of SEH resources and expertise so we can make things happen together.
Lucas received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s in Public Administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserves and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Administration at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He has taught as an adjunct professor of public administration at Grand View University in Des Moines and the University of Nebraska.
