As leader of SEH's Airport Planning and Design Group, Shawn is committed to bolstering the talent and capabilities of our engineers and planners – supporting the advancement of their careers as well as the needs of our aviation client partners. His plans as leader include finding innovative ways to grow and develop his team, including bringing in new talent and services to elevate our offerings.
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering and Master of Science in infrastructure engineering, both from the University of Minnesota. He has also completed pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. Shawn is currently the chief corporate pilot for SEH and flies a twin engine Piper Navajo and Beechcraft King Air E90 to support the needs of our clients across the Midwest.
“Being a good leader who supports and challenges his colleagues is very important to me,” Shawn says. “I'm excited to leverage the talent of our airport planning and design staff to collaborate with our aviation partners across the Midwest and beyond – helping them solve their many complex challenges. This starts with strengthening our SEH team – that is, growing strategically to meet the increased challenges and demand facing the industry, our company and our clients. I’m grateful to be leading such a dedicated group!”
