Garfield Avenue Bridge Replacement

Written by Admin | June 16, 2022

Challenge

The Garfield Avenue Bridge, originally built in 1929, was structurally deficient and needed to be replaced. Because the bridge was a historic landmark, the community wanted the new bridge to be in the same style as the previous one.

Solution

The SEH team designed a bridge that was reminiscent of the original, complete with modern upgrades like a raised sidewalk and modern lighting.
