Dual Reservoir Water Tower
Adds 23x More Storage

Challenge

A 55,000-gallon water storage tower built in 1938 need to be updated to serve a growing community. However, because the existing tower was located on a popular nature conservancy, its footprint could not be increased.

Solution

The City opted for a dual tank reservoir design, the first in Wisconsin. The solution features a 1.3-million-gallon storage system built to accommodate present and future needs.

Features

  • 1.3 million-gallon water capacity
  • Dual reservoir system
  • 20 percent lower operating costs
  • Low maintenance coating system
  • Non-interruption of telecom providers through use of temporary monopole
