Sheboygan River Habitat Restoration

Written by Admin | June 16, 2022

Challenge

Over the years, an area along the Sheboygan River had become polluted and unattractive. Erosion, pollution and invasive plants had severely impaired fish and wildlife populations.

Solution

The project team worked together for a complete restoration of the watercourse, creating new wildlife habitats, removing invasive species and introducing native plants. To combat erosion and strengthen the stream bank, the team added rock and log elements.
