Beginning of construction – This photo shows the early stages of construction. It highlights the cost-saving measure of utilizing pulverized pavement as a temporary roadway surface. It also highlights the reconfiguration of the existing retention pond to accommodate the realigned intersection.
Intersection roundabout during construction – This photo shows the mid-point of construction. The new configuration of the intersection is in place and vehicles are still running on the roadway base course.
Intersection roundabout final – This photo shows the intersection configuration post-paving. It shows newly configured pond and additional pedestrian accommodations installed to help connectivity between the different businesses in the area.
Access change final – This photo shows the overall scope of construction post-paving. As part of the project access, control changes were made to increase the overall safety of the corridor. These changes in access resulted in a heavy amount of business engagement both during design and construction.
