SEH Board of Directors Names 15 New Associates for 2025

The SEH Board of Directors has named 15 new Associates for 2025, recognizing individuals who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and commitment to SEH’s growth.

Congratulations to Kyle Anderson, Ken Brubaker, Aleigha Burg, Ron Chamberlain, Bryan Cunningham, Ryan Falch, Brett Hollister, Jennifer Kennedy, Parsa Kolahi, Justin Mankowski, Brian Morgan, Luke Pederson, Amy Prok, Kevin Sasse, and Brad Weiss.

Kyle, Anderson, PE*

Professional Engineer | Construction Services

Kyle is a seasoned engineering professional with over 25 years of experience spanning civil, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines. He specializes in construction administration and inspection, bringing a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, from initial design through final delivery, across residential, commercial, federal, and state-aid sectors. Known for his precision and leadership in the field, Kyle excels at producing comprehensive engineering reports and construction documentation, leading project meetings, coordinating with contractors, and delivering actionable field insights. His hands-on approach and deep technical knowledge make him a trusted advisor in ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout the construction lifecycle.

Ken Brubaker, PE*

Professional Engineer | Highway Design

Ken is a transportation design engineer with more than 17 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. He is passionate about designing and building complete transportation networks that serve all users – motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit riders. Ken applies his roadway planning and design expertise to support community-focused infrastructure. Before SEH, Ken served as a bicycle and pedestrian subject matter expert for the Colorado Department of Transportation. He also contributed to the AASHTO Committee on Design and chaired its technical committee on nonmotorized transportation.

Aleigha Burg, PE*

Professional Engineer | Highway Design

Aleigha is a transportation engineer with 14 years of experience delivering roadway, structure, and trail improvements for municipalities and local agencies. She takes a strategic and organized approach to project management, guiding clients through challenges and delivering results that align with their goals. Aleigha previously served in various roles at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Southwest Region office, including as a local program project manager. Her organized, technical approach helps agencies minimize disruption and meet design goals efficiently.

Ron Chamberlain

Business Development Manager | Sales

Ron brings more than three decades of experience in military and public service to his role as business development manager. He joined SEH in 2021 following a distinguished tenure as highway commissioner for La Crosse County, Wisconsin, where he managed a large operating budget and led the County’s Capital Plan. Ron’s background includes planning and overseeing engineering and construction projects, and he leverages this experience to support SEH clients with strategic insight and operational excellence. His leadership and deep understanding of public infrastructure make him a trusted advisor and advocate for client success.

Bryan Cunningham, PE*

Professional Engineer | Civil Engineering

As a municipal engineering professional with 27 years of experience at SEH, Bryan’s work spans utility, street, and highway design, site development, and recreational facilities throughout a variety of new and reconstruction projects across the Upper Midwest. His attention to detail and focused approach makes him a go-to resource for complex projects, governmental permitting, and municipal studies. Bryan’s wide-ranging experience includes serving local, state, private, and federal clients to improve infrastructure, while coordinating the talent of SEH’s multidisciplined teams.

Ryan Falch, PE*

Professional Engineer | Airport Planning and Design

Ryan is an airport engineer with 12 years of experience in airfield design and construction. He supports commercial and general aviation airports across Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. His portfolio includes runway and taxiway rehabilitation, terminal improvements, snow removal equipment buildings, and airfield lighting systems. Ryan is known for his hands-on approach, constant communication, and strong client relationships, guiding airports through complex infrastructure challenges.

Brett Hollister, PE*

Professional Engineer | Highway Design

With two decades of industry experience, Brett offers comprehensive expertise in transportation projects, ranging from complex interchanges to routine resurfacing and bridge replacements. He is recognized for his proficiency in managing all stages of a project, from initial planning through final construction. Brett excels in effective stakeholder communication, coordination with local authorities, and the delivery of projects that align with both technical aspects and community objectives.

Jennifer Kennedy

Senior Strategic Communications Manager | Marketing

Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, specializing in strategic marketing, corporate communications, and enterprise-level messaging. As senior strategic communications manager, she leads companywide communication initiatives that support business goals, strengthen employee engagement, and foster organizational alignment. Serving as a trusted advisor, Jennifer leads crisis communications and messaging that reflects SEH’s values, supports change, and positions our Company for continued growth.

Parsa Kolahi, PE*

Professional Engineer | Structural Engineering

With more than 15 years of experience in transportation infrastructure, Parsa is a structural engineer who designs and rehabilitates vehicle and pedestrian bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other critical structures. He manages projects with precision, balancing technical standards, safety, and long-term performance. Parsa’s ability to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver resilient, high-quality infrastructure makes him a trusted partner for clients and communities.

Justin Mankowski, LEED AP®

Project Design Leader | Architecture

Justin is a highly experienced professional with 28 years in the architectural industry, currently serving as the regional industrial architectural lead. He has been instrumental in developing a new work stream and revenue source for the practice. Justin excels in his strong technical knowledge of building design, construction methods, and a deep understanding of building and fire codes to lead complex projects. He is particularly adept at navigating building code assessments for high-hazard occupancy buildings, including industrial processing, manufacturing, and agricultural facilities. As a LEED-accredited professional, Justin incorporates environmentally responsible practices into every phase of the design process.

Brian Morgan, PE*

Professional Engineer | Mechanical Engineering

Known for his team-focused approach, Brian is a senior mechanical engineer and industrial lead with 17 years of experience in process systems, sustainability, utilities, and organizational leadership. He is expanding SEH’s industrial capabilities to support clients with specialized services, filling gaps where in-house resources are limited, which has led to the group taking on new and growing services like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and 3D scanning/Building Information Modeling (BIM). The bulk of this work involves cross-functional project teams working across regions to deliver solutions to clients. Brian is an advocate for an inclusive workplace culture, team building, and talent development. He is a member of Rochester Sustainability and Resiliency Commission and the Steering Team for Leadership Greater Rochester.

Luke Pederson

Technician | Wastewater Engineering

Luke has supported SEH’s wastewater engineering work for 25 years, from treatment plants and water towers to surveying and plan development. He brings in-depth knowledge of Division of Facilities Development requirements and often serves as a resident project representative for complex infrastructure projects – making him a valuable asset on state-funded projects.

Amy Prok, PE*

Professional Engineer | Wastewater Engineering

Amy is known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and willingness to embrace challenges, resulting in successful projects for our municipal clients. With 10 years of experience as a wastewater engineer and project manager, her project work includes collection system rehabilitation, treatment facility design, and wastewater planning. Amy enjoys using her role as project manager to lift others as she leads her team toward a common goal. Over the past five years, Amy has nurtured young talent by spearheading efforts to continuously improve the water and wastewater internship program.

 

Kevin Sasse

Professional Engineer | Civil Engineering

Kevin is a dynamic civil engineer with over 15 years of experience, specializing in land development, infrastructure design, and construction. He leads multidisciplinary teams, guiding them seamlessly through projects – from conceptual planning to construction completion – while ensuring regulatory compliance and public safety. His experience also includes land entitlement coordination, with a deep understanding of Nebraska’s Sanitary and Improvement District process.

Brad Weiss, PE*

Professional Engineer | Water Engineering

From preliminary design through construction, Brad supports water treatment projects focusing on technical quality and long-term performance. With nearly a decade of experience, he leads efforts in cost estimating, treatment calculations, and system rehabilitation. Brad also serves as a resident project representative and helps clients optimize their existing infrastructure through practical, innovative solutions.
