The SEH Board of Directors has approved four new Principals for 2025: Chris Larson, John Parotti, Jake Vasa, and Jeremiah Wendt. This designation recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in business development, technical advancement, project delivery, and client service.

Chris Larson, PE* Regional Practice Leader | Water
With more than 30 years of experience in water infrastructure planning, design, and construction, Chris is known for his depth of technical knowledge and leadership. He has advanced our company’s water services through master planning, pilot studies, treatment plant design, construction administration, and system startup and training. Chris currently serves as the regional practice center leader for the water practice, delivering forward-thinking, resilient solutions to communities. He is active in the Minnesota Section of the American Water Works Association and currently chairs the Competitions Committee within the Manufacturers/Associates Council.

John Parotti, PE* Professional Engineer | Civil Engineering
John brings more than three decades of municipal engineering experience to his role, serving clients throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has held numerous city engineer roles and manages complex public infrastructure projects – from sanitary and storm sewer systems to roadway reconstruction, water main extensions, and site development. His work spans both public and private sectors, including residential subdivisions and commercial and industrial sites. John is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Public Works Association and is known for his dedication to client service and sustainable design.

Jake Vasa, PE* Professional Engineer | Civil Engineering
Jake specializes in land development and infrastructure design, with nearly 20 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams. His expansive portfolio includes urban roadways and streetscapes, recreational areas, and mixed-use developments that balance technical performance with thoughtful, context-sensitive design. Jake brings a practical, visual approach to solving complex engineering challenges, guiding projects from concept to completion.

Jeremiah Wendt, PE* Regional Practice Leader | Water and Wastewater
Jeremiah’s career spans more than two decades in both public service and consulting, including a tenure as Director of Public Works for the City of New Richmond, Wisconsin. Since returning to SEH in 2020, he has led water and wastewater efforts across the region, overseeing the planning and design of water production, treatment, storage and distribution systems, and wastewater collection, conveyance, treatment and disposal systems. As the regional practice center leader for water and wastewater, Jeremiah focuses on delivering sustainable, reliable infrastructure and supporting communities through safe, dependable utility systems.
