When summer traffic picks up, safer streets matter more than ever.

Neighborhood streets are buzzing with activity. Kids are biking to the park, evening walks are getting longer, and more drivers are out enjoying the season. As activity increases, so do concerns about speeding and safety. Discover how communities can evaluate and implement smart traffic calming policies to help keep everyone moving safely.

Of course, sometimes two wheels are the better way to go.
From daily commutes to weekend adventures, biking plays a growing role in how communities move. Tune in to this month's {Brief}ly Speaking podcast with Ken Brubaker, PE, as he explains what actually makes bike lanes safer and how communities can make smarter investments that improve rider safety and comfort.

Hear from city leaders about how this community-wide project is helping create a more walkable, inviting downtown for residents and visitors.
