Encouraged by his father, a former bridge inspection manager at SEH, Brian joined the company without a formal engineering degree. Undeterred by this, he quickly found ways to bring value to SEH by utilizing GIS and Cartography to streamline project workflows and drive efficiencies.

Brian has pushed the boundaries of technology and client service, significantly impacting SEH’s capabilities through the adoption of new technologies, and has shown how persistence, creativity, and a willingness to learn can overcome the absence of formal qualifications.

Driven by a passion for continuous growth, he became certified to fly commercial drones, adding a skill that has enhanced several bridge and infrastructure projects. Reflecting on his journey, Brian shares, “I started with zero engineering experience or credentials and now consider myself a bridge inspection expert. I hope my story inspires others without traditional degrees to push boundaries and make meaningful contributions at SEH.”

Vince exemplifies SEH’s mission to connect with people and communities. With 20 years of experience in construction testing, he transitioned seamlessly into his role as a construction representative where his focus on clear communication and empathy has transformed how the public understands roadway construction projects. His ability to explain the impacts of road construction to residents and business owners has been key to building trust and alleviating frustrations in the communities SEH serves.
