The Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter of The ESOP Association recognized Jennifer Schmitz with their Employee Owner of the Year Award at the 2024 Spring Conference. Jennifer was recognized for her contributions to enhancing the ownership culture at SEH, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its ESOP formation this year.
A dedicated member of SEH’s ESOP Promotions Committee since 2017, Jennifer plays a pivotal role in educating employees about the value of their contributions and the benefits of employee ownership. Her efforts extend to representing SEH at The ESOP Association’s national and regional events, advocating externally for ESOP legislative action, and promoting the ESOP concept through social media outreach.

Jennifer, an SEH associate and BIM specialist, joined SEH in 2001 and contributes to the company’s growth through her role in technology implementation and process improvements. Her active involvement in SEH’s ESOP Promotions Committee and participation in ESOP events underscore her commitment to advocacy for employee ownership both internally and externally.
