SEH Board of Directors Names 17 New Associates for 2026

The SEH Board of Directors has selected 17 employee-owners as Associates for 2026. The designation recognizes individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, deliver high-quality work, and make meaningful contributions to clients, projects, and communities.

The 2026 Associates are Mark Antczak, David Barber, Joshua Baus, Jarod Griffith, Sean Heironimus, Jon Kruse, Kevin Manzke, Ericka Massa, Dianne Mathews, Simon McCormack, Tina McLaughlin, Alex Mickelson, Nate Nickerson, Mark Nolan, Tim Seeley, Brad Swanson, and Mark Zvitkovits.

Their expertise spans disciplines and locations across SEH, with a shared commitment to collaboration, problem-solving, and helping clients and communities move important work forward.

Mark Antczak Controls Group Leader | Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Mark leads SEH's Controls Group and has more than 40 years of experience in automation and control systems. He combines technical expertise with collaborative leadership to help municipal and industrial clients improve system reliability and performance. Before joining SEH, Mark spent 17 years as CEO of an automation integration firm, where he led business growth and complex automation projects.

David Barber, PE* Professional Engineer | Structural Engineering With 27 years of experience in bridge and tunnel inspection, structural evaluation, and civil infrastructure, David serves as a senior engineer and inspection team lead for federal, state, and local agencies across the country. His practical approach helps clients understand asset conditions, navigate complex challenges, and make informed decisions about maintaining critical infrastructure.

Joshua Baus Director of Technical Services | RAM Companies Joshua serves as Director of Technical Services for RAM Companies, an SEH subsidiary, where he leads technical services that strengthen operations and project delivery. He works across the organization to improve processes, solve technical challenges, and help teams deliver consistent, high-quality work for clients. Joshua also serves as secretary of the RAM Companies Board of Governors and is a Registered Roof Observer through the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants and a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials.

Jarod Griffith, PE*  Professional Engineer| Civil Engineering Jarod is a project manager with 16 years of experience in municipal infrastructure. Since joining SEH in 2017, he has led roadway, utility, and water infrastructure improvements, including street reconstructions, overlays, and lead service line replacements. He builds strong client relationships and guides projects from planning through construction, helping communities move critical improvements forward.

Sean Heironimus Customer Experience Manager | Information Technology Sean has over 12 years of information technology experience and has been with SEH since 2014. He leads SEH’s IT Support and Infrastructure teams, overseeing service delivery, infrastructure operations, and technology initiatives across the company. His focus on customer service and collaboration helps employees stay connected, productive, and equipped with the technology they need to deliver for clients..

Jon Kruse Outdoor Lighting and Electrical Group Lead | Mechanical/Electrical Engineering With more than 21 years of experience, Jon leads SEH’s outdoor lighting and electrical group and serves as a project manager and lead designer. He helps city, state, and federal agencies enhance roadways, parks, plaza, trail, and other public-space projects through lighting and electrical design. Working with public- and private-sector clients, Jon develops practical solutions that improve safety, functionality, and reliability.

Kevin Manzke, PE* Professional Engineer | Civil Engineering Kevin has 13 years of experience managing multimodal trails, roadways, utility, and construction services projects. He partners with clients and project teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that meet community needs. Kevin is also an active member of the American Public Works Association.

Ericka Massa Scientists | Natural Resource Scientists With 13 years of experience, Ericka supports environmental review, permitting, wetland services, and ecological restoration. Since joining SEH in 2019, she has provided environmental expertise for airport development and other infrastructure projects. As a professional wetland scientist, Ericka helps clients navigate regulatory requirements while balancing environmental stewardship and project goals..

Dianne Mathews, PE* Professional Engineer | Wastewater Engineering Dianne is a senior project engineer with 24 years of experience specializing in wastewater collection systems, capital improvement planning, and project management. She partners with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to develop practical solutions that support environmental compliance, system reliability, and long-term infrastructure performance. Dianne also serves on the Civil Engineering Advisory Committee at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Simon McCormack, PE* Professional Engineer | Wastewater Engineering Simon has 13 years of experience in water system planning, design, and operations. His expertise includes water treatment, storage, distribution systems, and regulatory compliance. Since joining SEH in 2019, Simon has helped communities develop reliable water infrastructure that supports current needs and future growth. He is a member of the American Water Works Association of Minnesota.

Tina McLaughlin Right-of-Way Specialist | Construction Services  Tina leads SEH's right-of-way services, bringing 18 years of industry experience, including six years focused on right-of-way acquisition. She supports transportation and infrastructure projects by guiding property acquisition efforts, building strong stakeholder relationships, and helping project teams navigate complex acquisitions while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Alex Mickelson Accounting Manager | Finance and Accounting  Alex is an accounting manager with nearly 20 years of experience. His work in Employee Stock Ownership Plan administration, Federal Acquisition Regulation overhead compliance, and Department of Transportation financial qualification reporting strengthens the financial and compliance processes that support SEH’s work. Since joining SEH in 2021, he has also helped improve systems and processes that increase consistency, efficiency, and organizational readiness.

Nate Nickerson, PE* Professional Engineer | Wastewater Engineering  Nate is a senior engineer with 20 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure engineering, project management, construction management, and operations. He leads complex projects from planning through completion, builds strong teams, and delivers practical solutions that help clients meet operational and regulatory requirements.

Mark Nolan, AICP Transportation Planner | Transportation Planning Mark leads SEH’s Central Region Transportation Planning group and has three decades of experience in multimodal transportation, urban design, urban planning, and civil engineering. His work ranges from local corridor and downtown studies to regional transportation and comprehensive plans. With expertise in transit planning, land use planning, active transportation, and stakeholder engagement, Mark helps communities create connected and vibrant places. He is a certified planner, a member of the American Planning Association, and a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences.

Tim Seely Crew Chief | Survey Tim is a survey crew chief and project manager with 30 years of experience supporting municipal, transportation, and construction projects. Since joining SEH in 1998, he has led field survey operations and construction layout, providing accurate project information teams rely on throughout design and construction. Tim is a Certified Survey Technician, Level III, through the National Society of Professional Surveyors.

Brad Swanson Designer | Civil Engineering Brad is a project manager with 33 years of experience in infrastructure and public works. As a former public works director, he brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges communities face and understands projects from the client’s perspective. His experience in both the public and private sectors helps him guide work from planning through construction. Brad is a member of the City Engineers Association of Minnesota and serves on both the American Public Works Conference Planning Committee and the City of Stillwater Planning Commission.

Mark Zvitkovits, AIA*, LEED GA Architect | Architecture With 18 years of experience, Mark specializes in architectural design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Since joining SEH in 2011, he has worked on a variety of building projects, helping clients bring concepts to life through thoughtful, functional design. As a LEED Green Associate, Mark brings a focus on sustainable design and quality project delivery. He is active in the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council.
