Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH®) is enhancing how it delivers value to clients by formalizing its approach to artificial intelligence (AI) – focusing on practical applications that improve project outcomes, accelerate delivery, and enhance decision-making.

SEH has established a Director of Artificial Intelligence role, with Emily Honerbrink stepping into the position. Emily will lead the firm’s enterprise AI strategy with a clear objective of translating AI into measurable impact. This includes identifying and scaling AI integrated workstreams that enhance project insights, improve coordination across disciplines, and enable faster, more informed decisions for clients facing increasingly complex challenges. The role will also establish a framework for responsible use, reinforcing SEH’s commitment to transparency and professional judgment in every engagement.

As a Principal at SEH, Emily has been actively involved in advancing AI initiatives across SEH for several years, driving practical applications while leading enterprise adoption efforts. She has also shared insights on the use of AI in infrastructure and professional services at industry events, bringing both internal leadership and external perspective to the role.
