Challenge
The City wanted to connect two neighborhoods divided by an active railyard. The project team had to find a way to assemble the bridge without disrupting railroad operations.
Solution
The project team pumped concrete through an existing stormwater culvert, underneath the railyard, to a crane in the middle of the site where the bridge was assembled.
