Duluth John A Blatnik Bridge Lighting Design

Challenge

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) needed to update the lighting system on the Blatnik Bridge between Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin.

Solution

The SEH project team designed a state-of-the-art, low-maintenance LED lighting system to replace the bridge’s aging system. The new lights reduce energy consumption by 60% and are easier to maintain than the previous system.
