Gaylord Street Improvement Plan

Challenge

As part of a state highway reconstruction project, the City of Gaylord had to improve the streetscape of their downtown.

Solution

Sanitary and storm sewers, water main, streets and curbs and gutters were reconstructed as part of the state highway project. Special considerations included prioritizing improvements and developing a two-phase project approach to minimize impacts of the construction on summer park activities.
