Project Introduction
Welcome to the project website for the 2026 Street and Utility Improvements on Clearwater Road, North Lynndale Area, and Brentwood Circle. The City of Baxter is partnering with Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH) to lead the engineering efforts.
Improvement Hearing
The City of Baxter will host a Public Hearing at City Hall on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The intent of the Improvement Hearing is to review the project improvements and discuss assessments and other project information. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing.
Project Overview
This project involves the full reconstruction of streets and the installation of municipal sanitary sewer and water utilities along Clearwater Road, within the North Lynndale Area, and on Brentwood Circle. Project maps are available below for your review.
The project is currently in the feasibility and planning phase, with construction expected to take place during the 2026 construction season. Upcoming steps include City Council review and discussion on the feasibility report, a Public Hearing on July 17th, and additional meetings and project development as determined by Council action.
Previous Updates
A Neighborhood Meeting regarding this project was held at Baxter City Hall at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24th.
The meeting was intended to inform residents of the project, but it was also an opportunity for an informal meeting to allow residents to provide input about the project, and to provide specific details related to properties.
